MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

We started with 795,000,000,
equal to the number of people who suffer from hunger. Now, thanks to your help,
we have reached zero.

If everyone participates - governments, organizations and individuals – we can
get to Zero. Even in real life.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development approved by the 193 member countries of the United Nations aims to, among other things, eliminate hunger in the world within the next 15 years.  Together we can be the Zero Hunger Generation.

Get to Zero!
Join our Challenge and make the UN itinerary interactive and educational: starting from 1 May you will be able to download “Get to Zero”- the United Nations’ game for Expo Milano 2015- for free, and help us to get the number of hungry people in the world to zero.

It is possible to end hunger in our lifetime if we all work together; to reinforce this belief, the more people who play the game, the faster the number of people who suffer from hunger will decrease. Today, there are around 800 million people who go to bed hungry. The objective of the game is to get to zero, and we can only do it together! Complete all seven levels to win the UN virtual passport as a prize, which you can share on social media.

How do you play?
You can play Get to Zero during your visit to Expo Milano 2015, using the QR Codes that you will find on the UN installations along the Zero Hunger Challenge Itinerary, or you can play it online, from wherever you are.

How does it work?
At each level of the game, you will see an image that illustrates one of the Zero Hunger Challenge elements, then it will break apart and you will be asked to put it back together, moving the tiles of the puzzle into the correct place. Once you have put the image back together, you must answer a multiple-choice question correctly to move to the next level. Answers to the questions can be found throughout the UN spaces at Expo or additional information sources online. If you give a wrong answer, you have to start the level again, complete the puzzle and answer a new question. There are a total of seven levels, one for each of the five pillars of the Zero Hunger Challenge, one on women’s empowerment and gender equality and a final level.

What is the prize?
Once you have completed all seven levels and signed the Zero Hunger Challenge Declaration, you will receive a UN virtual passport with your photo and name, along with your own personal score. You can share each step of the game (the levels you complete and your score) and your passport online through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram.
